Description
PCI Express x16 Gen 3.0 host-to-target expansion kit
The PCIe x16 Gen 3 expansion kit connects a server to an I/O card. You start by plugging in the PCIe x16 Gen 3 switch-based cable adapter into a server. It is then wired to a PCIe x16 Gen 3 switch-based target cable adapter. The PCIe x16 3.0 slot backplane supports up to one PCIe x16 Gen 3 add-in card. The PCIe 3.0 standard enables a data transfer rate of 128GBit/s.
