Description
PCIe x16 Gen 3.0 expansion backplane with one slot
The PCIe x16 Gen3 (1-Slot 427) backplane supports a PCIe Gen3 target adapter installed in the OSS target slot. It is also suitable for a single PCIe x16 expansion card installed in the expansion slot. The slot is backward compatible and additionally supports Gen1 as well as Gen2 cards. OSS target backplanes only support OSS target adapters that have the target slot of the backplane installed. OSS PCIe backplanes support expansion cards which are compliant to the PCIe PCI-SIG specification. The PCIe x16 Gen3 (1-slot 427) backplane is used in the CUBE products. However, it can also be used in test applications as a standalone backplane with 12 VDC power supply.
