ANT STE-502C – 2-Port RS-232/422/485 to Ethernet Device Server
The STE-502C is a dual port gateway between Ethernet (TCP/IP) and serial signal communication. It enables the connection of almost any serial device to a new or existing Ethernet network. By encapsulating serial data and transporting it over Ethernet, the STE-502C provides transparent bidirectional full-duplex data transmission between the serial port and Ethernet network. The STE-502C can use either RS232, RS422 or RS485 serial communication standards and is ideal for upgrading industrial serial devices to an Ethernet network.
