SFP-GMM Modules – Small Form-Factor Pluggable (SFP) Transceiver Family
The Small Form-Factor Pluggable (SFP) transceiver family is available with different types of copper SFP and fibre SFPs, SFP and XFP. This transceiver module complies with the Small Form-Factor Pluggable (SFP) Multi-Source Agreement (MSA). They are versatile and widely used because they are hot-pluggable, easily interchangeable with optical types and ranges, and field-replaceable. Many of Advantech’s SFPs offer rugged industrial performance with extended operating temperature ranges. Through real-time monitoring, Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) functionality provides users with critical information such as received optical power, transmitted optical power, laser bias current, input voltage and temperature in the network. This approach is definitely a better method for fault isolation and detection.
