BOXER-8253AI – AI@Edge Embedded Platform
The BOXER-8253AI brings the power of the NVIDIA® Jetson Xavier™ NX and combines it with the flexibility of PoE PSE support and HDMI input. The NVIDIA Jetson Xavier NX SoC features a six-core 64-bit ARM processor with 384 CUDA® cores, 48 tensor cores, and two NVDIA engines that can run multiple neural networks in parallel and deliver accelerated compute performance of up to 21 TOPS. The system offers 8GB of onboard LPDDR4 memory and 16GB of onboard eMMC storage, which can be expanded with a microSD card, mSATA module, or 2.5-inch 6.0 Gbps SATA III drive, which is easy to install thanks to the DeepL access panel.
AI-powered visual analytics support
The BOXER-8253AI is equipped with an I/O loadout that allows flexible deployment for any application. The compact Jetson system has two PoE PSE ports (802.3af) that deliver up to 60 W of total power. In addition, the BOXER-8253AI’s HDMI input provides new capabilities that allow developers and users to quickly add AI-powered visual analytics to a wide range of applications, from NVR surveillance systems to X-ray scanners at security checkpoints to medical devices.
Flexible and expandable interfaces
The BOXER-8253AI also offers expansion capabilities thanks to its mini-card slot and M.2 2230 slot, allowing users and developers to quickly add additional features such as Wi-Fi networking support. The edge computing system continues to offer flexible I/O features, including four USB3.2 Gen 2 ports, COM and DIO ports designed to connect to a variety and number of sensors, control devices and more.
