NRU-120S Series – Strong Computing Power and Rugged Design

The NRU-120S series is a robust edge AI-based video analytics solution with capabilities such as video recording, transcoding, and real-time conferencing. The system is supported by an NVIDIA® Jetson AGX Xavier™ system-on-modules, is equipped with an 8-core ARM CPU and an NVIDIA® Volta GPU with 512 CUDA cores and 64 Tensor cores, providing 11 TFLOPS of computational performance in the FP16 benchmark and 22 TOPS in the INT8 benchmark.

Thanks to the energy-efficient design of the NVIDIA® Jetson AGX Xavier™ SOM, the NRU-120S series consumes only 30W of power despite strong computing performance. The energy-efficient design and compact form factor make the series the perfect edge AI solution for fixed and mobile applications alike. The NRU-120S series offers four 802.3at PoE+ ports, each of which can power consumer devices such as IP cameras with up to 25.5W of power. In addition to the 32GB eMMC on the Xavier module, the NRU-120S series includes two front-accessible hot-swappable 2.5-inch bays for expanding storage capacity, as well as an M.2 2280 NVMe socket for fast SSD read and write operations. The platform also features a mini PCIe socket for a Wi-Fi or 4G module, a GPS PPS input, and isolated 3-channel DI and isolated 4-channel DO for data exchange with external devices.

By integrating PoE+ connectivity, multiple NVIDIA® AI tools, and current deep learning frameworks, the NRU-120S platforms enables real-time inference over image and video data to edge nodes. The series is an all-round solution for video analytics with 802.3at PoE+ camera connectivity, decoding, streaming and recording video and for AI inferencing already at the edge node. With Neousys’ special design vibration damping holding clamps, ignition control and wide voltage range for power supply, the NRU-120S series is the ideal video inference platform for autonomous machines, predictive maintenance, law enforcement and smart city applications.
