PCIe-PoE550X: 2-port 10 Gigabit PoE+ networking card
The PCIe-PoE550X is a PoE+ capable 10Gbit Ethernet network card according to IEEE 802.3at. It is equipped with an Intel X550-AT2 Ethernet controller and offers itself as a cost-effective 10GBASE-T solution for the demand caused by the growing number of 10GbE applications.
The PCIe PoE550X has a 10GbE interface with PoE+ capability. It uses proven 802.3at PoE+ technology and an elaborate power supply design to ensure optimal signal integrity over 10G PHY and maximum bandwidth. With its combination of 10GbE and PoE, the network card is suitable for new applications such as high-performance Wi-Fi access points and high-resolution or high-speed industrial cameras, over a single Ethernet cable.
10GBASE-T uses twisted-pair copper cable and RJ45 connectors, dramatically reducing deployment costs for a 10G network. The PCIe-PoE550X provides 10Gbps throughput connectivity over distances of up to 100m using CAT6a cable, or 55m using CAT6 cable. It also supports the new NBASE-T standard and is backward compatible with existing 1000BASE-T GbE networks, making it easy to integrate into your current network infrastructure.
