PCI Express x4 Gen 2.0 Expansion Kit including backplane
The PCIe x4 Expansion Kit includes a PCIe x4 Gen 2.0 host cable adapter and PCIe x4 Gen2 target cable adapter. The package also includes a two-slot expansion backplane (one of which is a PCIe x16 slot) and a PCIe x4 2-meter cable. Plug the x4 host adapter card into an empty slot in your server. The 3500 kit includes a PCIe 2-slot backplane with one x16 expansion slot. The expansion slot in the 3500 kit supports 20GBit/s bandwidth with x4 adapter cards. The 3500 expansion kit works with 1m, 2m or 3m x4 PCIe cables, and the backplane can be operated with an ATX power supply.
