Description
PCI Express x4 Host-to-ECA Expansion Kit
The PCIe x4 host-to-ECA expansion kit includes a Gen2 host cable adapter, PCIe x4 expansion cable adapter, and a 2-meter x4 PCIe cable. The host interface card installs into a PCIe x4, x8, or x16 port in your host motherboard or backplane. The expansion cable adapter (ECA) is a free-standing card with four mounting holes for screws and can be installed in an enclosure. The ECA slot operates at x4 speed, but its x16 connector can accept a PCIe x4, x8, or x16 add-in card. With the Cable Expansion Kit 2050, you can remotely control any PCI Express-based device via a cable. PCIe x4 cable lengths of 1-, 2-, 3-, 5- or 7-meters are available for the Expansion Kit. In addition, the cable enables a data transfer rate of 10GBit/s.
