Description
PCI Express x16 Gen 4.0 host-to-target expansion kit
The PCIe x16 Gen4 host-to-target expansion kit connects a server to an OSS expansion backplane. It involves plugging the PCIe x16 Gen4 host cable adapter into a server. It is then wired to a PCIe x16 Gen 4 switch-based target cable adapter. The expansion kit connects with up to four x4 cables (1-, 2- or 3-meter SFF-8644 PCIe Gen 4.0 compliant). The PCIe 4.0 standard achieves a data transfer rate of 256GBit/s. The matching expansion backplanes must be purchased separately.
