Description
PCIe x8 Gen 3.0 expansion backplane with two slots
The OSS target backplane supports a PCIe Gen3 target adapter installed in the OSS target slot. It is also suitable for up to two PCIe x8 expansion cards installed in the expansion slots. The slots are backward compatible and additionally support Gen1 as well as Gen2 cards. OSS target backplanes only support OSS target adapters that have the target slot of the backplane installed. OSS PCIe backplanes support expansion cards that conform to the PCIe PCI-SIG specification. The PCIe x8 Gen3 (2-slot) backplane is used in the CUBE products. However, it can also be used in test applications as a standalone backplane with 12 VDC power supply.
