Description
Industrial PICMG backplane with ATX power connector support
The model PBP-14A7 is a third generation active PICMG bus board with a broad variety of interfaces and an ATX Power Connector support for a stable power supply of all connections. A reinforced PCB makes the board particularly sturdy and safe against deformations, thus making it suitable for demanding CTI application.
In contrast to traditional backplanes that only allow passive components, the active chipset on the bus board enables an increased amount of PCI slots (up to 18). The PBP-14A7 offers 14 PICMG 1.0 slots (non-server-grade), seven PCI slots as well as five ISA interfaces.
