Medical box PCs are available with Intel® Core ™ i7 / i5 / i3 CPUs of the sixth generation. The chipset supports all LGA-1151 Skylake processors with Q170 support and Intel Graphics 530 as well as a maximum power dissipation of 35W. In addition, the systems include two mini-PCIe slots and one PCIe x16 slot as an option.

Digi medical servers such as the Connect ES series have an IEC 60601 3rd Edition certification. The robust housing contains, four or eight galvanically isolated serial connections among others. Digi Connect ES is used for applications in order to establish Ethernet connections between serial devices and central data management systems.
